Pindit Privacy Policy

Pindit values your privacy. Pindit is a one-line reminder app that helps you pin important notes to notifications until they are completed.

1. Information We Collect

Pindit does not require account registration and does not collect directly identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Notes, reminder settings, completion history, and app preferences entered by the user may be stored locally on the device. This information is used only to provide app functionality and is not transmitted to a separate server.

2. Notification Permission

Pindit may request notification permission to display reminders created by the user and keep important notes visible until they are completed. On Android, the app may use device permissions related to notification display, scheduled notification restoration, and vibration.

You can change notification permissions at any time in your device settings.

3. Information Stored on the Device

Pindit may store the following information on your device:

  • Notes entered by the user
  • Reminder time, repeat settings, and snooze history
  • Completed pin history and completion time
  • App preferences such as memo font, notification tone, and completed history retention

4. Purpose of Use

Information stored on the device is used only to provide app features, including displaying notes in notifications, managing up to four active pins, and showing completion history or recent activity. This information is not transmitted outside the user's device.

5. Third-Party Sharing

Pindit does not sell or share personal information with third parties.

6. Analytics and Advertising

Based on the code currently reviewed, Pindit does not use Firebase, Crashlytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs. If analytics tools or advertising features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Data Deletion

Users can delete app data through in-app features or device settings. Deleting the app may also delete Pindit data stored on the device.

8. Children's Privacy

Pindit does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated due to changes in app features, legal requirements, or service operations. Updates will be posted on this page.
